We are married! ~mike
and joy. San Francisco City Hall, 23 July 2010 |
||
|
We met in August, 2005; for three years we traveled by air between San Francisco and Los Angeles to see each other; Mike moved to San Mateo in 2008, we got engaged in November 2009 and now we are married!
The wedding was a small gathering with immediate family on a Friday afternoon in San Francisco. Next, we are planning a big party for friends and family! Photography by Adrian. |

| Afterward, Joy and I walked across the street to our top-floor room at Vitale, a boutique hotel across from the Ferry Building. Cozy, sleek, and bright, the room had a big soaking tub with a view of the city with a glimpse of the bridge and the bay. After an afternoon game of scrabble, supplemented by dark chocolate and red wine, we ventured out to a nearby favorite source of Peruvian ceviche and ate far too much delicious fish. Saturday morning we went across the street to the Ferry Building farmers' market, where tasty hot breakfasts are prepared and sold. Then it was time to collect my truck from the valet and return home. | ||
Our rings are palladium and gold alloys interlocked together with Mike's favorite woodwork joints. |
